Upcoming Appearances, American Dream Mall and San Diego Comic Con!

I'm heading to New Jersey for an art show for Soccer Gods! It's going to be at the American Dream Mall: Global Canvas HQ, The Avenue, 2nd Floor

I don't know how long the pieces will be up but I can guarantee that I'll be there on Saturday July 18 from 4pm-8pm for meet and greet kind of thingy.

Here's a link so you can RSVP. It's a free event, but space is limited.

In the universe of Soccer Gods, legends and heroes of myth and folklore come together to compete in a sort of celestial soccer world cup the results of which have shaped humanity's past, present, and future.

I got to design the Amazon River Serpent, The Raven, and The Soccer Gods version of the Jersey Devil. This first release is collectible trading cards but the possibilities for this universe and the projects it could spawn are endless and I'm super thankful to Starlight Runner and Que Pop for bringing me in on the fun!

See you Saturday!

SAN DIEGO COMIC CON

I missed out out on ALA this year which was in Chicago but I'm making up for it by heading off to San Diego Comic Con July 23–26 to promote School for Extraterrestrial Girls!

I've got an official signing at the Mad Cave booth (2806) on Sunday July 26 from 10–10:50am. Unofficially, you can find me the rest of the con hanging out with Digital Pimp at booth 1437 where you can bring books for me to sign, check out the con exclusive shirt from Digital Pimp, or just geek out about Ultraman Teo and the upcoming Kamen Rider My-Th.

SDCC is one of my favorite shows of the year! I don't have to worry about selling stuff so I can just go and check out all the stuff and get a little overwhelmed. Well, a lot overwhelmed. But I always have a great time.

So if you're near the American Dream Maul in Jersey or going to SDCC, look me up!

Small Press Expo is usually my last show of the year, but it turns out I've got two more to go before we say goodbye to 2026! November 6 from 6pm–9pm, I'll be at the Movement Rockville climbing gym for their 4th annual Artist Fair! This is a free event where local crafters and artists get to show off their wares while you get your climb on! It's really fun tabling at the gym. No one expects an art market when you're chalking up to work on your projects so the surprised looks on climbers'...

A chibi drawing of me sitting at my drawing tablet slurping ramen noodles, holding a burger in my left hand while I draw with my right, and holding a bucket of chicken between my knees.

School's back in session for the kiddos in Maryland which means it's the perfect time to start a new project. It's time for a streaming Lunch and Draw! I'll be starting up an art stream this week Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30AM to 1:30PM EST. This sounds like a weird thing for an old such as I to get into, but there is a madness to the method. When I'm in the process of drawing a book, I hardly make time for anything else art wise. This means no personal work that can help build up my...

Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to Kaiju Brooklyn! I got to meet the big guy himself courtesy of Project Nautilus who crafted this highly detailed Godzilla suit. It was such a whirlwind of a show that I didn't get the opportunity to take many photos. But if you are at all a fan of giant monsters or karate bug men in suits, keep your eyes on May for next year's Kaiju Brooklyn! Thank you to the team who put together such a fantastic event. The vibes are so good and the...
