Art Stream Schedule

School's back in session for the kiddos in Maryland which means it's the perfect time to start a new project. It's time for a streaming Lunch and Draw! I'll be starting up an art stream this week Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30AM to 1:30PM EST.

This sounds like a weird thing for an old such as I to get into, but there is a madness to the method.

When I'm in the process of drawing a book, I hardly make time for anything else art wise. This means no personal work that can help build up my portfolio and no exploration to try different techniques. By setting up a streaming schedule, I can force myself to get in some non work drawing and build on my skills. At least in theory.

So if you have a spare hour or so on your lunch break, hop on in and check out the stream! It's early days so I can almost guarantee if you have a question, I'll be able answer!

SMALL PRESS EXPO

My last show for the year is coming up and I'm so looking forward to bringing some new stuff! Small Press Expo returns September 12 - 13 at the big ol' Bethesda North Marriott Convention Center. It's really Rockville, but they keep trying to call that part of the city North Bethesda. I'll be bringing my prints and Book 3 of School for Extraterrestrial Girls.

After SPX, I plan on relaunching the online store. I ran into a few snags when trying to get some of the new things set up and I figure I can devote some more time to that after the con.

So if you're anywhere near the DMV, I'll see you in September!

Small Press Expo is usually my last show of the year, but it turns out I've got two more to go before we say goodbye to 2026! November 6 from 6pm–9pm, I'll be at the Movement Rockville climbing gym for their 4th annual Artist Fair! This is a free event where local crafters and artists get to show off their wares while you get your climb on! It's really fun tabling at the gym. No one expects an art market when you're chalking up to work on your projects so the surprised looks on climbers'...

Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to Kaiju Brooklyn! I got to meet the big guy himself courtesy of Project Nautilus who crafted this highly detailed Godzilla suit. It was such a whirlwind of a show that I didn't get the opportunity to take many photos. But if you are at all a fan of giant monsters or karate bug men in suits, keep your eyes on May for next year's Kaiju Brooklyn! Thank you to the team who put together such a fantastic event. The vibes are so good and the...
